The challenge
Roadstone, A CRH Company, was called upon to help create a functional and aesthetically pleasing exterior for the center, with paving that had to be both modern and complement the design of the new building.
The solution
To complete the exterior of the centre, Roadstone supplied 300m2 of Milan Paving in two colors, silver granite and midnight. This is a concrete-manufactured paving product, shot-blasted for a granite appearance, and available in a range of colors to allow for a variety of finishes to suit any exterior.
The paving was laid in a bespoke pattern using 70% silver granite and 30% midnight. Both colors were also used as a border to compliment the look of the paved area.
Roadstone’s Silver Sand was brushed into the joints between the paving, while 30 meters of its Castlestone Kerb and tactile paving slabs completed the eye-catching envelope for the new facility.
