The challenge
Landscape architect Architectural Alliance was chosen to design hardscapes to complement the modern, contemporary theme envisioned for the property. At the front entrance, Architectural Alliance wanted to create a unique pattern that would differentiate Overture Dr. Phillips from other developments in the area.
The solution
Moduline and ground-face pavers from Belgard, a brand of CRH’s Oldcastle APG business, were selected for the project, providing a lean, modern look to amenities such as cabanas and lounge furniture. Around the pool, the Belgard pavers’ premium ground face, where the top of the paver is ground to expose natural aggregates, added design interest.
Belgard pavers are easy to install by hand, helping create an aesthetically pleasing outdoor environment that has been well received by residents.
