We took our first step into the Americas in 1978 with the acquisition of Amcor, a concrete products company in Utah. Since that time, CRH has grown to become the leading vertically integrated solutions provider in North America, serving customers that include: national, regional and local governments, owners, developers, contractors, retailers, professional retailers, and installers.
Our resource-backed assets are the foundation of our business, supporting the manufacture and supply of aggregates, cement, asphalt, readymixed concrete, concrete products (including blocks, pavers, precast concrete, and pipe), plastic pipe, and outdoor living solutions. We are also active in expanding the use of recycled materials and the development of lower energy-intensity products, playing our part in contributing to a more resilient and sustainable built environment.
