Dale Mabry Highway
If you’re travelling through Florida, chances are you’ve taken Dale Mabry Highway – a busy urban corridor connecting key destinations including MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa International Airport and Raymond James Stadium, along with numerous shopping malls and restaurants. But did you know that repaving this critical highway was an award-winning project of CRH?
Edgewood Lodge at Lake Tahoe
Edgewood Lodge at Lake Tahoe, Nevada is a popular and award-winning resort location which hosts the annual American Century Celebrity Golf Championship Tournament. Mirage Porcelain Pavers from CRH are responsible for a key element of its ‘mountain modern’ aesthetic.
George Washington Bridge
Although this 100-year-old bridge is primarily a critical transportation link, carrying over 100 million vehicles each year between New Jersey and New York, tourists often walk or bike across the pedestrian walkways to experience the iconic structure up close, which offers impressive views of the Hudson River and the Manhattan skyline. Did you know CRH was a critical partner in maintaining the health of this iconic bridge?
Hersheypark® Amusement Park
Hersheypark® is a family amusement park in Central Pennsylvania which welcomes guests from all over the world. It features over 70 rides, 15 roller coasters, a water park and Zoo America. Concrete was the material of choice for this project because of its strength, durability, longevity and ability to be customized and of course CRH was the provider.
Hudson Yards
Hudson Yards offers world-class shopping, dining, arts and attractions like The Edge which offers a thrilling glass floor and 360-degree views of New York City. This is a must visit destination in Manhattan and CRH is proud to have provided a large majority of the aggregate stone to this iconic New York project.
Interstate 69
I-69 is a major north-south highway which connects the cities of Indianapolis, Indiana with Lansing, Flint and Port Huron, Michigan within the Great Lakes region. CRH played a critical role in its major upgrade and it has since been named as a top road in America.
Kennedy Space Center
Kennedy Space Center is a major, top-ranked tourist destination, offering a full day of immersive space education and experiences. But did you know that when NASA needed to repave their Space Shuttle Crawlerway, with stringent material specifications, time constraints and transport requirements, CRH was called in to support?
Levi’s Stadium (San Francisco 49er’s)
Even in sunny California, rainy season can turn a football field into a muddy swamp and a parking lot into a floodplain. Luckily CRH created a precast modular stormwater collection and natural treatment system to manage stormwater runoff from this premier sports and entertainment venue, to keep it functioning for visitors year round for major events like the 2026 World Cup.
Museum at Prairiefire
This 42,000 square foot facility in Kansas is dedicated to meaningful learning and engagement with science, culture, art and natural history. The museum is clad in stone from CRH, representing the rolling hillside, and has received honors for its architecture style.
Richmond Raceway
This stadium in Virginia is host to hundreds of events every year including NASCAR and IndyCar races, outdoor festivals and concerts, and CRH was responsible for designing, engineering and manufacturing the precast concrete box culverts used to create a pedestrian tunnel providing access to the concourse.
Teton Pass
This high mountain pass, at an elevation of over 8,000 feet offers a beautiful, scenic drive between Wilson and Jackson, albeit with steep grades and sharp curves. Several avalanche slide paths traverse the road and CRH was involved in the creation of a temporary, emergency detour there, when a catastrophic landslide wiped out a section of the highway in June 2024.
The Tappan Zee Bridge, New York
The Mario M. Cuomo Bridge replaced the old Tappan Zee Bridge, and spans the Hudson River in New York State. It’s New York’s longest bridge and CRH is proud to have played a key role in its development.
Truist Park (Atlanta Brave’s Stadium)
Truist Park, home of the Atlanta Braves, is a premier tourist destination in Atlanta, Georgia, offering tours, dining, shopping, music and events all year round. But did you know that CRH was involved in its development, with the creation of an integral underground stormwater detention system? Because what’s a ball field if covered by floodwaters!
Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park is widely considered a natural wonder of the world, filled with breathtaking landscapes, world-renowned feature, wild creatures and endless possibilities for exploration. But did you know that CRH regularly keeps the park maintained, helping to keep visitors safe? Next time you stop to take in the views, take a moment to appreciate the infrastructure that keeps visitors connected.
