Texas is entering one of the most aggressive roadbuilding periods in its history, with $104 billion allocated for transportation projects over the next 10 years, including major highway expansion and rural connectivity.

Declining supply, rising urban demand, and aging infrastructure are driving an urgent need for resilient water systems. Texas loses approximately 130 billion U.S. gallons of potable (drinking) water each year.
Reindustrialization

About 34% of Texas’ electricity comes from renewable sources. Marble Falls Quarry
Operations at Marble Falls began in the 1940s, and CRH acquired the site in 2014. Spanning 1,500 acres, it includes an open-pit limestone quarry, processing plant, stockyard, and rail load-out facility.
With a workforce of approximately 125 employees and contractors, the team supports an annual production capacity of 12 million tons. Marble Falls serves customers through 14 rail terminals across Central and East Texas, the Gulf Coast, and Louisiana. With reserves estimated to last over 100 years, Marble Falls plays a vital role in Texas’ aggregate supply chain.

Our cementitious business in Texas
CRH’s cementitious business plays a vital role supporting the region’s infrastructure and construction growth. Eco Material Technologies operates a national network of fresh and harvested fly ash, pozzolans, synthetic gypsum and green cement facilities distributed across 124 U.S. locations, 20 of which are in Texas (including 400 employees). Combined with capabilities from Ash Grove with two cement plants in Texas, this positions CRH as the cementitious partner of choice to help power Texas’ next chapter of growth.
