Hersheypark® Amusement Park

Hersheypark® Amusement Park

Hersheypark® is a family amusement park in Central Pennsylvania which welcomes guests from all over the world. It features over 70 rides, 15 roller coasters, a water park and Zoo America. Concrete was the material of choice for this project because of its strength, durability, longevity and ability to be customized and of course CRH was the provider.

This is a must visit destination in Manhattan and CRH is proud to have provided a large majority of the aggregate stone to this iconic New York project.

I-69 is a major north-south highway which connects the cities of Indianapolis, Indiana with Lansing, Flint and Port Huron, Michigan within the Great Lakes region. CRH played a critical role in its major upgrade and it has since been named as a top road in America.

Kennedy Space Center is a major, top-ranked tourist destination, offering a full day of immersive space education and experiences. But did you know that when NASA needed to repave their Space Shuttle Crawlerway, with stringent material specifications, time constraints and transport requirements, CRH was called in to support?

Levi’s Stadium (San Francisco 49er’s)

Levi’s Stadium (San Francisco 49er’s)

Even in sunny California, rainy season can turn a football field into a muddy swamp and a parking lot into a floodplain. Luckily CRH created a precast modular stormwater collection and natural treatment system to manage stormwater runoff from this premier sports and entertainment venue, to keep it functioning for visitors year round for major events like the 2026 World Cup.

This 42,000 square foot facility in Kansas is dedicated to meaningful learning and engagement with science, culture, art and natural history. The museum is clad in stone from CRH, representing the rolling hillside, and has received honors for its architecture style.

Richmond Raceway

Richmond Raceway

This stadium in Virginia is host to hundreds of events every year including NASCAR and IndyCar races, outdoor festivals and concerts, and CRH was responsible for designing, engineering and manufacturing the precast concrete box culverts used to create a pedestrian tunnel providing access to the concourse.

Teton Pass

Teton Pass

This high mountain pass, at an elevation of over 8,000 feet offers a beautiful, scenic drive between Wilson and Jackson, albeit with steep grades and sharp curves. Several avalanche slide paths traverse the road and CRH was involved in the creation of a temporary, emergency detour there, when a catastrophic landslide wiped out a section of the highway in June 2024.

The Tappan Zee Bridge, New York

The Tappan Zee Bridge, New York

The Mario M. Cuomo Bridge replaced the old Tappan Zee Bridge, and spans the Hudson River in New York State. It’s New York’s longest bridge and CRH is proud to have played a key role in its development.
